Every once in a while when I buy an item, I wonder how I ever lived without it. A favorite pair of jeans, a comfy sweatshirt, a tool-of-the-trade electronic, whatever—these wonderful purchases endow in me the opposite of buyer's regret. In fact, it's more like buyer's pride.
Here are a few of my favorite purchases:
My new straightener. A while ago, I blogged about a
sale on straighteners at Sally Beauty, and for me said bargain was the final straw in my ongoing dilemma: Is it worth it to upgrade from my drugstore straightener? The answer: Yes. This baby might have cost $20–$30 more, but it makes getting ready in the morning so much easier, and has had an invaluable effect on my hair-related confidence.
My iPod. This isn't so much my current iPod (an iPod Touch) as it is iPods in general. Ever since I got a second generation circa 2004, my music-listening experience has never been the same. Remember skipping CDs? Only listening to the albums you had on your person? My iPod makes it impossible to imagine returning to discman-land.
My leggings. I have a pair of slightly flared American Apparel leggings that seriously make the world go 'round. Whether I'm working out, lounging around my apartment, or just too much of a mess to finagle actual pants, I'm comforting to know I have an easy, moderately chic option to fall back on. My only buyer's regret here is not buying 50 pairs.
I have so, so many more. But hey, I want to here about
your all-time purchases.

My flip flops
Before I even read this I knew for me it would be my ipod. I don't know how I could have done all the running I did without it, all the long car rides, all the hours trapped in a boring lecture hall with nothing to distract me but listening to my favorite music. Since I listen to a wide range of music I can never tell in the AM what I'm going to want to listen to in the PM. Seriously, how did I survive before my ipod??
I love my guys' red plaid flannel pajama pants from Target (they have pockets! I have yet to get a warm pair of girls' pj pants w/ pockets) and a black velour zip-up hoodie from Old Navy. Neither were on sale, which was out of the ordinary for me. But I wear them a lot.
my super comfy sweats. :] and a pair of jeans i just got today. i <3 it already haha.
Camelbak and *cough* DivaCup. Hands down. (I've thought about this question before.)
Ipod, I can't even imagine the days when I had to choose what cd I had to listen to whenever I had to venture away fom home. To and from my destination; I had to listen to the same ten songs or whatever songs were on my disc.
Red flannel pj pants! Totally worth the what.... $7 I paid? So comfy. And my external hard drive. I've ripped CDs and DVDs onto it, so it's super easy to play movies on the xbox now! :)
Got a pair of slippers for $5 and pj pants for $8 today. They are so comfy and warm. :)
I'm going to have to go with my purple Nalgene. It's served me very well over the years, and I love that it doesn't break if I accidentally drop it.
I don't really regret anything that I've bought. I'm a serious thrift store shopper/trader, so I swap my old clothes in for the new ones that I want and all is gooooood :]]
Outside of clothes though, I really like my iPod. Like a lot.
Err... if you count books, then yes, books, I never regret buying all books that I collect. I'm not that nerdy, I just think books are great investments. Fashion changes, very dynamic, I'm not that girly. I can't catch up that latest fashion trends. Too lazy to shop :) I regret most clothes that I've bought. Bad taste of fashion. Poor me. I gotta drag my sister every time I 'need' to buy clothes, so that I won't choose some clothes that I see it nice, but bad in others' sights. :)
iphone, school tuition, first edition books, and vacations.
