Woot.com, a geek-friendly site that showcases a new discounted gadget each day, recently debuted its new bargain hunting service,
Deals.Woot. The new site is very community oriented, allowing users to post deals and vote on each other's submissions and comments, all of which gets tied together by some snazzy algorithm that indexes the deals by popularity.
I found a couple of intriguing sales on Deals.Woot, including
the Onion Store's free t-shirt promotion, and the tip that
Dunkin' Donuts offers free coffee samples by mail.
Deals.Woot also offers sponsored-deals section, featuring bargains that make the site money—but the Deals.Woot staff insists the site only accepts money from companies that sell truly awesome stuff. And, you can add a Woot This Deal button to your bookmarks toolbar so as to easily contribute to the site.
Community-oriented bargain sites are popping up all over the place—do you like them? Have you found any good deals lately?

I love community deal websites. Thanks to slickdeals.net I got a brand new Xbox360 elite 120gb(with the newer processor) for under $190! Those were $400 a few months ago. I also picked up L4D2 for just $30. I'm waiting for a good deal on a tv and a computer monitor for my gf.
