Our friends over at Healthicker sent us this clip of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, where a guest panelist gives some funny tips on how to save money. (I might look into the fake-tanning tip though, I've been looking pretty pasty.)
This clip is funny, but it brings up some interesting points—during tough economic times, it's all about making less feel like more, whether that's simulating a luxury cruise in your bathtub or, more realistically, spend vacation days on shorter trips or visiting family.
What affordable luxuries have you found in your life? Do you have any zany money-saving tips?

The most expensive thing I have purchased all year is a $125 wallet that will last me for a long time. :)
