How Countries Spend Their Money
I found an interesting chart of how different countries spend their money in the categories of military, heath, and education. You can look at a clearer chart here.
What really surprised me the most was that, the United States spend the most money on health than any other country. Yet, we still do not have free universal health care...

seriously america needs to just learn shit from canada and the EU in general and get some universal healthcare, as well as regulate the fucking market more. i hate americans. i'd move to canada in an instant if it wasn't for my education.

Universal Health Care is not free - it's more expensive. With it, we'll be paying for the thousands of illegal immigrants who don't pay taxes! Those that do pay taxes are really collecting from the government by claiming their 10 children and cousins and extended family. And with the promise of health care for them, they'll be coming over 10x quicker. They break an arm, they'll cross the border to come to a hospital here. They get cancer, they'll come here. It's only free if you're illegal, poor, or unwealthy. I prefer to pay for myself and no one else.
@snapeful@xanga - If youre thinking about moving to canada, you better not get sick or injured. Many people die on the waiting list before getting crucial treatment.

@Skyofnew@xanga - Lol, my boyfriend goes back to Mexico for the healthcare. He just had two root canals, two molars pulled, and his teeth polished for $500. The same day he bought his plane ticket, he had his appointment set for an hour after he got off the plane in Mexico City.
Maybe it's time I should visit Mexico since I caught god knows what and can't afford $700 again for a fucking diagnosis. Too bad I have to wait 6 weeks and pay $100+ for a passport, when my boyfriend paid $45 for his and got it the same day at his Consulado de Mexico.
@snapeful@xanga - You can die on a waiting list or die from being starved to death and homeless after being sucked into debt by medical bills. My mom has been a RN for over 20 years now and she said anything is better than the shit we have now. She's paying $400+ a month for Humana and they still try to fuck her over, even though she works for them haha.

I have not seen a doctor for more than 40 years. Healthcare insurance does not mean much to me. Just be careful not to get injuried or be sick. Want to learn how to be healthy like me who do not need healthcare insurance....click below
