How Do You Unwind?
Back when I was still working at the firm, I discovered the importance of unwinding after a long day at work. It sounds silly, but I was genuinely surprised by how much an eight hour day can take out of you. So every day when I got home, I'd immediately kick off my heels and change into lounging clothes. Then I'd sit and watch Cash Cab and Jeopardy to relax. If I didn't, I would be extremely grumpy.
Now that I'm back in school, unwinding has become even more important. I've found that my studying is much more productive if I give myself some time each night to relax and forget about my casebooks. My routine now is to watch an episode of The Office from last season (I'm slowly trying to catch up) or go running. It's funny I have never been a runner, but I actually enjoy it these days. I think it's because I just need to move after sitting on my butt all day with my books. I'm surprised by how much of a difference there is when I don't that time for myself.
What do you do to unwind after a hard day of work or school?

Blow my load. Yes, I went there.
I usually play a random video game or sew to my heart's content. Wandering aimlessly on the internet works, too.
Watch porn.
And facebook.
:D
It depends on the day and what is available. I usually play on the computer or read a good book.
I tend to unwind too much and not do my homework. Like yesterday I came back from classes and meetings @8, I told myself that I was only to watch one ep of Heroes, eat and get on with my homework, but I ended up not wasting time and not doing my homework till the next morning.
Music/Video Games/Friends
Oh! I definitely think unwinding is important. I used to be so go go godo do do, but my dog has really helped me. When I come home from school, I forget about my classes for a little bit by going to the dog park for about an hour. I play with my dog there and that in itself is pretty therapeutic.
