  • Cheap Creative Ideas: Crayon Cookies

Sometimes, it gets expensive to go out and do something with the kids or with your siblings. With summer winding down and school starting soon, its time to find creative things to do in the house when everyone is either beached out or too broke to do otherwise! One of our readers found a creative solution to boredom: Crayon Cookies! (Just make sure you do not eat them of course!)

Today I did something because someone else said about it and I just had to do it too.

    I made crayon cookies

We started by peeling the paper wrappers off of all the broken crayon bits.

We pre-heated an oven to 300 degrees and popped in our tray.

After about 5 minutes they are melted and I pull them out of the oven

I let them cool on the stove top for about 10 minutes and then pop them in the freezer for 15 minutes

After that they just pop out of the tray

What creative ideas have you done to keep everyone busy?
