Getting the Most Out of Your Hotel Stay
My mom has a friend who really knows how to take advantage of his hotel stays. He travels for work, so he is constantly spending nights in hotels throughout the country. He comes back with endless bars of soap, mini bottles of shampoo, even personal sized boxes of cereal from the continental breakfast. If you're spending so much money to stay in a hotel, you may as well get the most out of it, right?
Do you think taking things like this from hotels is wrong? Would you do it? Have you done it?

this is an intersting article on the topic: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31046570/
most hotels expect you to take certain items, some even encourage it.
Hmm, thought this would've had more than stating what a lot of people already do.
Yes, I do it.
is your friend chinese?
my grandmother keeps a collection of napkins from all the restaurants she frequents
Best way to take advantage of hotels is to jerk off using the sheets. Then kill a hooker and stuff her in the mattress. Don't forget to Febreeze!
lols of course not, its there for a reason ! :D
Mouthwashes, soaps, pens, notepads etc.
lol, i take the toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, soap, pens, notepads, etc. it's so funny. i was about to take an ihome once, but i decided not to. lol
I don't think it's wrong.. As long as it's the freebies like soap, shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, notepads.. Just don't take hotel stuff like towels, etc. :)
hey, you paid for it. why not?
I haven't taken any of them home, mostly because I use 'em all up during my stay hahaha.
I always take the toiletries and pens. I wouldn't go so far as to take the towels, but they expect you to take/use the soap/lotion/etc.
Other than that, another good way to get the most out of your stay is to sign up for the reward points. My husband has spent 100 nights at Marriott brand hotels this year on business and we have earned a week of free stays and platinum membership which gets us free room upgrades.
my mom got mad @ me one time for not taking the free shampoos / soaps / shower cap etc. I told her seriously why do we need all that? Living on my own now I kinda regret not taking those items coz now I gotta buy it all >.<*
