With the heat rising up here in the North East and summer about to hit in full swing, everyone is anticipating gas prices to go up. Since everyone is traveling more with nice weather and more leisure time, the demand for gasoline rises, as does the prices. Honestly, although I may not be a driver, gas prices effect me as well. My friends in New Jersey drive me around down to the shore, or just to go out to the local bar, so it means chipping in a little more to help out.
Do you think gas prices will rise tremendously this year? What will you do to save even the slightest on gasoline?

Gas is almost three dollars here...I suddenly regret taking a summer job half an hour away.
I ain't tripping. After gas price of almost 5 dollars for regular last summer, it feels like it's nothing at almost 3 dollars right now. It was literally 5 dollars in SF last summer.
$2.49 a gallon here. Ugh..wish the weather wasn't so humid and hot, so I could ride my bike more.
not a surprise, i saw a huge increase in gas price since I came back to NY. I think it was originally $2.50 a gallon, now it's $3.49 and it's still increasing...

Gas prices will go up. Right now in my area though, it's gone down in the past few days. It's $2.39 right now.
I try to run all my errands in one outing and try to do them in the most efficient route. I fill up my tank once it gets halfway because (scientists confirmed this on the news) in the intense heat, once the tank gets low, it gets used up very quickly and inefficiently due to evaporation. I try not to do any driving I don't have to do. I don't go out as much, and I don't go as far as I was willing to go in the past. I don't just do all this to save money though. I am also almost 9 months pregnant and don't want to go out too much, too far, stay out too long, or get too hot.
I refuse to drive on days I don't work. Gas is 2.90 in SF and I'm pissed.
