I recently moved back home to finish my University studies. I've been making a list of items I need to fancy up my room a little bit since its been a few years. I thought about what I could get and afford. I looked around and realized I'm a very simple person. I'd have to say the most expensive item in my room has to be my HP 32 inch flat screen television, that I got for Christmas a few years ago. If you happen to be in your room, or if you are very familiar with it (You should be, it is your room), what is the most expensive item you have in your room? Why did you purchase it?
(Personally, I wish the room in the photograph above was my room!)

dresser? bed? carpet? i have no clue.
My MacBook.
my computer.
I have a house, but the single most expensive thing would be my computer set up. If you facting in the computer, printer, monitors, and all that go with it, the price adds up.
I'd have mixed feeling about having the room in the photograph- I'd feed I'd be a target for every criminal in the country! =:-0 Now I'd defitely love to have that amount of cash in my bank account.
My room is the most expensive thing in my room. Freakin $900/month for rent in a lousy neighborhood, just cuz it's close to school!
Seriously, I would guess either my monitor, laptop, or clarinet (all in the $1000-$1500 range).
My laptop. I bought it because... well you know... ;)
@just_the_average_jane@xanga - what neighborhood is this? so expensive!
My guitar ($150-250), my PS2 (at the time about $160? was it?), or my my skateboard ($100-200)
:)
I named my guitar Shadow, by the way.
Haha.
Just thought you should know.
My laptop.
For most people it should be their computer unless the bought an expensive bed(mine was like $150)
My cellphone... My mom was the one who purchased it. $300 some.
My primary instrument, by far. I just finished paying it off...7 years later...haha.
My laptop. I need it for online classes
my bed...like $200 for the frame and then $600 for the foam mattress
it's probably my mattress and the box spring, it's about $2k.
My computer. I needed it for school.
@just_the_average_jane@xanga - I was going to say the same thing. This room is the most expensive thing in this room, although rent here is $105/mo. cheaper.
But ummm... I'm honestly not sure which item here in my living room is the most expensive, although I'd guess it's between the couch and the Macbook Pro.
My law degree.
The money in my private safe, which is just a small jewelry box with some rubber bands.
I have no idea how much the furniture in my room cost, but none of it is particularly fancy or high-quality. My parents don't buy expensive things! Therefore, the most expensive thing in my room (that I know about) is my computer, which was built by my brother from parts that probably totaled around $800-$1000 at the time.
Probably my laptop... it cost at least 1000 dollars, daddy paid for it.
The second most expensive would probably be my mattress.
My HP laptop
My Macbook.
Our mattress. We got a really good one.
