Being one of the oldest currency note, the two dollar bill seems to be one of those myths people talk about. I have never even seen one myself, which isn't strange since under 1% of the bills are actually out in circulation. I found an interesting website to track these unique bills.
Wheres George not only tracks regular bills, but the two dollar bill as well. By entering the serial number, you're letting the world know the two dollar bill is alive!
Since it is rarely used and hardly seen, is there any point in even making the two dollar bill? Its interesting to know how special this bill is, but besides that, it serves no purpose when often stores refuse to accept these bills.
Should the U.S. stop making two dollar bills? Have you ever seen a two dollar bill?

My dad gave me like probably 10 $2 bills. He even gave me some 1 dollar coins new ones and old ones. New ones are nicer though their in GOLD $_$
The guy I'm seeing has one...I'd never seen one before and I thought it was fake. It took a lot of convincing for me to realize it was real. :P
My grandmother used to work at a bank so we would get them in easter eggs every year. We thought we were so cool because nobody else had ever seen them.
id rather have a 1000 dollar bill. I wonder if they would accept it at the grocery store.
my mom has one. i think my grandpa does, too.
I collect all sorts of coins and bills, the two dollar bill included.
Also, my uncle has many of these bills!
I have one on my wallet...I've had it for YEARS!
I have two, but I've never spent them. Everyone always assumes they're fake whenever you try. You can ask for them at your bank.
I have like fifteen of these. They're only worth two dollars. Not really that big a deal.
i remember back in gr 6, a girl in my class used a $2 bill to buy lunch. what a waste... it was probaby worth so much more.
my fiance has one.you can ask for them at the bank.
My grandma always sends us two-dollar bills in our birthday cards. I didn't even know they were rare till I was at least twelve. Once I handed my coach two dollars to pay for my part of our pizza dinner, and of course it was in a two-dollar bill. He looked at it and said solemnly, "Ten minutes ago, I had never seen one of these in my life." My brother had paid his two dollars ten minutes before. In a two dollar bill.
@Sorrows_xx_Soliloquy@xanga - my fiance just inherited a coin collection. from his grandpa that passed. two full boxes. most all sealed. some in envelopes and from different countries. some from as far back as the 1600's. im sure its worth a pretty penny. he doesn't wanna sell it though. he wants to give it to our son.
@kkraziemoonn@xanga - I'm sure that's definitly an impressive collection! My collection does not date back nearly as far as that one.
I've seen tons of them. I had a couple of them but they are away in storage some where.
i work at starbucks and people are always paying with $2 bills. my dad collects them :)

I have three two dollars bills (:
I saw an old lady give a table full of kids $2 bills each for behaving at a restaurant the other day (they weren't her kids, she was sitting in the booth next to them and as she was leaving she handed each kid a bill and thanked them for being so well behaved). The kids were like... "TWO DOLLAR BILL? Daddy, is this real?" Haha! The dad was pretty astonished at her generosity (there was like 5 kids!)
