Being one of the oldest currency note, the two dollar bill seems to be one of those myths people talk about. I have never even seen one myself, which isn't strange since under 1% of the bills are actually out in circulation. I found an interesting website to track these unique bills.
Wheres George not only tracks regular bills, but the two dollar bill as well. By entering the serial number, you're letting the world know the two dollar bill is alive!
Since it is rarely used and hardly seen, is there any point in even making the two dollar bill? Its interesting to know how special this bill is, but besides that, it serves no purpose when often stores refuse to accept these bills.
Should the U.S. stop making two dollar bills? Have you ever seen a two dollar bill?

I've seen a ton... I used to have like 3 of them, but I spent them.
I work as a cashier, and this couple once paid me with over 20 two dollar bills, it totally confused my counting...
my dad has one..I thought it was fake until I realized $2 bills are legit bills..albeit rare
Why should they stop making those bills? You need them to pay for the hot dogs!
lolz, me mum usually has about two or four on her at most times
We still had the 2$ bill like a decade ago in Canada. However, all that got replaced by a 2$ coin.
I've seen a few during my life. I first got one when I was in 6th grade or something like that (I used it to buy a basketball card, lol). I got several a few months ago in change. I subsequently spent them though.
I have one ^^
I used to collect rare and international currency.
I see them all the time at my job
I have three
I've seen quite a few $2 bills before. mostly when I was working at Wal*Mart.
I have a couple of them.
It's a federal offense for a store not to accept legal US currency. There's a Santa Claus dollar bill that also fits this category.
I get them every year for Chinese New Year. It's amazing how my grandparents know which banks to go to to get them.
My parents got a couple for me and each of my siblings. Outside of what my parents got, I've only seen a few others.
The liquor store down the street from me growing up always had two dollar bills, so when us kids in the neighborhood would get allowance, we would get two dollar bills a lot. I never realized they were anything special until I was older.
I used to have so many 2 dollar bills...but I used them all since I thought that they'd stay in circulation :(
I used to have a few. My grandma would always give me and my siblings some.
I have one. I found it outside my locker in 5th grade.
I used to have a friend who paid for her lunch with them.
My dad has a few, too. So I have seen them.
I have one... I use it as a bookmark :)
yes the 2 dollar bill is pointless. also they should make dimes bigger than nickels.
My dad has a few. I didn't know they were so rare since you can just go to the bank and get some if you wanted them.
I have about 40 bucks worth of two dollar bills.
I thought production stopped on those long ago. I have a couple.
I used to work at a bank. You can request bills, like new bills if you need them for a special occasion or holiday. For Chinese New Year a few years ago, my mom had our bank (which I worked at) order a stack of $2.
I still have quite a few at home.
I don't think they're as hard to get ahold of as every seems to think. My great grandmother used to give all of her great grandchildren one for their birthdays, and for each Christmas. If I had been smart, I'd have 18 of them. But I always spent them. My brothers each still have one.
I saw someone use one just the other day to pay for something, and listened to a dialog about it between said person and the cashier for a little while. haha. :) Interesting. :)
