I was so pissed last night after going out to eat with some of my friends. We were at this restaurant eating, drinking, just having fun. When I got there, I put down my earphones on the counter.
After we were done, we left and then after a few blocks I noticed I didn't have my earphones. I rushed back to the place we sat, there was nothing there. When I asked the waiters if they had seen a small pair of black/red earphones on the counter, they said they didn't.
I was so angry at myself for losing $150 worth of equipment. After fuming on the train, I figured there was nothing I could do about the situation except next time, take better care of my personal belongings. I was glad I didn't lose my iPhone which I normally carry in my pocket but today I decided to bring it in it's holster.
Have you ever accidently lost anything of value? Where did you lose it and how much was it?

Your earphones were $150?!?! Crazy.
I've lost [I won't say stolen....] $300, clothes [why steal my underwear????-they knew I shop at VS. haha], and about 30 cds. I was upset.
When I was 14ish, I had all my CDs in one of those handy organizers. About 60-70. On the way to the airport in Florida, going home from visiting my aunt, I forgot it in the backseat of a taxi. That stung.
the most valuable thing i ever lost was probably my winter cap when i was five. I left it on the train seat and i got off at my stop.
i lost an ipod in the girls locker room before. UGH stupid little teenage brats.

You spent $150 on earphones? Whoa. No, I haven't lost anything like that of value. I tend to keep my valuables in my purse. I did have a $20 in my pocket one time and it fell out in the parking lot and I never did find it...so yeah.
