$100.
I don't have much extra money myself.
I don't know if I can put a limit, but it would depend on the friend and how much I had. And no matter how close we are, or if they are a family member, there would most definitely be a written contract for repayment.
$50 and they must pay me back within a week.
$300. my friend didn't pay me back until 3 years later
lol i just read someone's pulse about her lending someone $2000 bucks and hasn't heard from them since.
probably nothign because i have no money to lend =P
A couple of hundreds.
2 grand and it was hell getting the money back. I'm never ever doing that again.
I never lend money to anyone. If a friend of mine is in a bind and I have the available cash I give it to them plain and simple. Sometimes they return it later which is a pleasant surprise but I don't expect it.
16k...it was a headache. never again
a couple hundred, maybe..
100... anything over that needs to be in writing and signed.
Uhm...not much. As a matter of fact, it's my family who have borrowed over $2.5K from me.
$100 for her $180 hair straightener
$2,000.00 - I was a complete idiot.
I've learned my lesson well.
Probably a few hundred depending on what kind of friend he is.
$1,000 was the most I have ever leant out, and I have never expected her to pay it back. That was 4 years ago, and we're still pretty close friends. I gave another friend $400, but they paid it back.
On the other hand... my former low-life roomie bilked me out of $3,800 2 years ago, and I'm still pretty peeved about that one. What can you expect from a guy nick named "Dust Mop"?
I'm not sure, depends on the friend. I lent my brother $200 to pay for half of his tattoo outline though. I have never gotten it back but he swears he'll pay it back after his summer euro trip. Like that will happen hahah.
uh like $20 lol. i'm still in high school and don't have any money.
Depends on the friend, their situation, and my situation.
Uh, probably not a dime. I don't have it to give anyway.
$25, i usually forget so big amounts of money are not given away by me.I usually dont expect to get paid back.
$800. I'm pretty sure he'll pay me back.
I never let a friend borrow money because they never asked me which is because they know that i mmight not have it sense i have three children to take care of and buy for plus they would also have to go thru my husband before i can say yes or no.But i think the most i would let someone borrow is like 40bucks or less but thats only if i can afford to lend it to them which is hardly.
Depends on the friend. My best friend could borrow as much as I have and my entire credit limit. Anyone else, not so much.
I only lend the amount I am willing to gift - just in case they don't pay it back. That way it doesn't cost a friendship, too.
