Summer, because it's so much easier to buy summery clothing (and usually the clothes are priced lower than in fall or winter because there's less fabric needed to make the clothing). Plus I have much more free time to shop :)

Fall/Winter because I spend most of that time in school or generally in a professional/academic setting, and love to look my best there ^^". Also, because we have seven months of fall/winter combined, so it's the longest period in the year.

I automatically shop for late summer/fall. It's not fun, but it's practical. Not really a dress-wearing person (wish I had the cajones!) for spring/summer. :\
I have the most fun shopping for things in bright colours and formal dresses (since I'm not a casual-dress person), so that'd be spring and summer.
