When you breakdown your paycheck, where does most of your money go? What does the least amount of money go towards?

I give at least ten-percent to my church. I tithe.
$100 goes to cell phone.
$300 goes to car payment [$150 twice a month].
$130ish for car insurance.
$50ish for my credit card.
$50ish for Victoria's Secret credit card.
$50ish for another card.
$40ish for gas.
I can't wait to pay off my cards. :-/
the majority of it goes to bills and rent and then only 20% of it goes to just free spending. the other goes into the savings account. i try to spend as little as i possibly can and save as much i can. i like to spend but lately trying not to splurge as much because i'm planning for my future.
I say around 60-70 percent of it goes into my checking account, the rest as pocket money for w/e.
Well it kinda depends on which check it is since I get paid twice a month.
Check one:
$50 student loan
$50 another student loan
$100 credit card
$50 different credit card
$30 internet bill
$120 car payment to parents |includes insurance I believe|
I think that's it for that one...
Check two:
$160-170 something--cell bill. It varies.
The rest I just keep in my bank account and use as needed for gas and food and whatnot.
Bills and food. This past paycheck we were spending WAY too much money on eating out. That must be change asap because it is absolute waste of money.
food and marijuana and thrifting and textbooks and beer
Roughly 70% goes directly into savings. The other 30% covers everything else. I have very few monthly bills because I like to pay cash for everything up front so bills are probably what I spend the least on. I spend the most on my nieces and nephews.
@carrie_is_lost@xanga - Have you looked into getting some sort of unlimited plan to get your cell phone bill down to around $100 a month?
pay everything with my credit card, like cellphone bill, car insurance, shopping, buy useless stuff online... its around 700-1000 a months, and around 300 cash for whatever....
I pay myself first....
Max out 401K and Roth retirement contributions
Mortgage
Car
Utilities
Groceries
Non retirement savings/investments
Misc (social events)
@eskeemo_kisses@xanga - Nice. A good break down with a focus to pay off your cards shows good financial planning. Be sure to pay off your highest interest CC's first.
20% Food, 50% Girlfriend, 20% Parties, 10% me
Before I got laid off, after taxes:
45% rent and utilities
15% student loans
15% car, insurance
5% savings
The remaining went into food and recreation, most usually saved
Now:
85% rent and utilities
15% car, insurance
Notice the lack of a food budget.
I am amused by these huge cell phone bills. I spend between $10 and $25 per month on cell. Huzzah pay-as-you-go.
FOOD!!! gas, rent, bills and the rest goes into savings. (woot for $30 go phone bill)

Total/month: 1100
Rent: 450
Utilities: 60
Internet: 40
Phone: 40
Savings: 150
Gas: 60
Food: 120
Left over/month: 180
I live pretty tightly, but whatever I don't use I save. And then things happen like my computer dying. Such is life.
Oh, but 1100 is what I get after deductions, which include health insurance and my retirement plan.
Most of it goes to:
1. Uncle Sam/taxes
2. rent
3. food/grocery
I spend very little money on candy.
Don't really keep track but I'll say to utilities, food/entertainment, buying stuff for myself, saving.
excuse the language.. i'm a little bitter...
i've gave the cops 700 fucking dollars of MY money.. because they decided to be jackasses. i admit, i deserved ONE ticket. never there when you need them, always there when you dont. thanks for taking my money assholes.
the rest goes to school, and my credit card which is spent on gas and food and cellphone bill. thank God i don't have a car payment. i can't afford it, my job pays me shit.
if i'm lucky i make 500 a month. no scholarships for school and my parents didn't save up for me to go either. i'm pretty much fucked. i hate money.
sorry i gave*
Hm. Well besides $400 for my school loan.
$80 roughly for a Metro Card
$100 for nightlife expenditures- going out, drinks, clubs. Trying to cut down on this.
I've been unemployed so I try to eat at home to save money, but sometimes Dominos just sounds so good!
Oh and $20 for my gym membership!
I think thats about it.
