I hate talking about money to people. It has nothing to do with whether or not I make less, it's just a very uncomfortable topic of discussion.
It's worse now. People are afraid to talk about being laid off or their financial problems.
I think this now is the time to take a hard look at yourself and the mistakes you've made.
Yes, no one wants to give in and tell people about their problems but it's like therapy. If you decide not to say anything, you won't make any progress towards a better financial future.
I'm not in any financial debt but I know people who are, but always say they're fine even though I know they aren't.
It's frustrating when they could easily get help but refuse to because they're embarrassed others might find out.
Is it embarrassing to talk about your financial problems? Do you know anyone that's in debt?

hmmn...i could have sworn that i have commented on this before...
that really depends on how much you're buying...a whole cart full is a little too much. with the supermarket I go to, there's usually a requirement where you need to buy a certain amount before you can get the discount price for the sale item.
Today they had a sale on stouffer's mac & cheese in Walgreens. 99 cents down from $3.53. I got 3. Then afterwards, someone took what was left, which was a good 10 at most. That's hoarding.
I completely know & understand we're in hard times but hard times bring out the greedy as well as the good people.
It depend on the situation...
If you're taking a lot but you can finish em' before the expiration date then you're taking advantages of the discount (Just by judging another customer you don't know how big his/her family is).
However, if you're just taking a full cart of a certain item because it is cheap but basically you know you can't use em' all then you're hoarding...
I believe the right thing to do is take some and save some for others. Then again, there are always people out there who think selfishly and tend to think "If I don't take em' all then someone else will anyway"
i guess it depends, i mean you shouldn't have like five shopping carts full of junk. but, oh well.people are scared.
i didn't realize how bad the unemployment thing was until a man applied to work at my chick-fil-a....that used to be an eye doctor.
