I bought a new jacket today. It was one I had been eyeing for some time.
I didn't think it would ever go down in price but to my surprise there it was in another
GAP store, three months later.
When I first saw the jacket, I wanted it instantly but didn't have a need for it. I kept telling myself if buy it now, I'm going to regret it like many of my previous purchases.
So I resisted the temptation, but today I had to give in. I was glad it was on sale, because I was also able to tag on an extra $20 off the price since
GAP was offering $20 bucks for a total over $75.
My sister was with me and was very surprised I hadn't bought the jacket earlier, because I'm usually an impulsive buyer, but I didn't. In some strange way I'm proud of myself for having done that.
Yeah it's pretty sad, but I save money on other things but when I really like something, I usually end up getting. The good thing is, there aren't many things that I absolutely love.
Have you ever waited for an item and gotten it much cheaper? What was it?

Can't remember if I have or not, but congrats on waiting to buy it.
I do that for pretty much everything
I wait for everything to go on sale :)
congratulations, i guess is what i'm saying or something in that milieu. :)
usually, you'll probably be able to find a certain item for cheaps either online or on sale down the road. that, and i'm embracing the ways of saving yer $$$ for something probably important(better) in the future
I like to tell about my first scanner for the computer. When I first wanted one, they cost a thousand bucks. Then they went down by half. When I finally got one, Iaid fifty dollars after a thirty dollar rebate.
It's happened only once or twice. Usually the item I want is something really nice (and others want it too), so it's gone in a flash :(. I mean, I could say I'm proud of myself too for waiting, but then you just end up being upset over the item if someone else buys it before you do because said someone has more money than I do and therefore it doesn't matter how they spend it ><.
i waited and got a tv for much cheaper. 40' full hd for $499.
It depends on what items. For clothing, I may not wait. Coz when they have sale, the size I need may already been sold out.
I saw a pair of ballet flats that I was too cheap to buy online and then I found it in a forever 21 in NYC and it was the wrong size :(
I do that for pretty much everything
