Museum Costs Are Generous, On Some Days
One of my good friends and I decided to go to the art museum this weekend. It has been a long time since I have been there and the Philadelphia Museum of Art is always awesome.
My friend lives within walking distance so we decided to meet at her house and walk down.
I was checking out the cost of admission so that I knew what I was getting myself into before we got there. It took some searching on their website, but found what I was looking for.
We are going on Saturday. The cost is $14. Not bad for hours of entertainment.
I also noticed something else I thought was really interesting. On Sundays, the cost to get in is whatever you feel like paying! What more could you ask for?
One dollar could get you in the door to see everything it would normally cost $14 for!
Unfortunately, we are both busy this Sunday so we still chose Saturday. But in the future, we will definitely consider going on Sundays and paying a lesser admission!
Do you take advantage of deals like this? Have you ever looked to see if any museums in your city offer discount days? How much do you usually give for admission donations?
