Volunteer - Get Free Stuff, Win-Win For All!
Volunteerism is just such a beautiful thing --it's a spirit in all of us that inspires us to be good neighbors and help out where we're needed. However, who says that acts of kindness come with no reward?
Starbucks is asking you to join the call for national service. Each person who pledges five volunteer hours will received a FREE TALL BREWED COFFEE.
True, volunteering is done with heart and selfless intentions. Still, a little "warm the toes" beverages never hurt anyone, right? From the looks of it, small commitments from Starbucks customers have accumulated into over 190,000 hours pledged.
I love community awareness projects and this definitely counts as one. Thank you, Starbucks!

I already volunteer, so I'd receive that cup of tall dark. Too bad I don't drink coffee though. Maybe I'll give it to my mom :).
