Sites that Cater to Your Job Hunting Needs
This is a guest blog submitted by the_prestigiator
Push aside the newspaper, don't stop and hurriedly jot down information from the bulletins in the hall, and log onto your computer. Job searching has become extremely digital these days as can be noted by the high rise in sites catering to job hunters everywhere.
Let's see. We have...
2. monster.com
10. futurestep.com
11. indeed.com
12. jobbankusa.com
13. jobguru.com
14. prohire.com
15. linkedin.com
There are so many more, I can't even list them without sounding redundant and listless.
I usually focus on mediabistro.com, craigslist.com , and monster.com. I remember visiting way more sites back in the day, but I've realized they all pretty much include similar content.
Do you search for jobs online? Have you found it to be convenient or is the old newspaper method still working for you?

This is just the blog I've been waiting for. For the past few days I've been talking about using the internet to find a job instead of sitting on MySpace (oops, I said it again), Facebook, and Xanga. Thank you for making this post.
A good one that you missed. www.USAjobs.com
It is the website for jobs with the federal government. As far as I am aware, it is where they post all jobs and the only place they post them.
Oh - and they are definitely hiring for all of the Census stuff coming up!
Job websites are more useful for me than the newspaper sometimes.
Not forgetting job points which has job advertisements in the country where I live.
@simply_steffy@xanga - haha! no problem! hope it helps :)
