How much did your Thanksgiving turkey cost? Was it more than what your family usually spends on a turkey for Thanksgiving?

We ordered everything pre-made from FreshDirect! It was pretty expensive for the whole she-bang... but no cooking required
.
@john@xanga - Thanksgiving cooking is actually pretty fun. But I guess if you're lazy and have the resources, why not right?
No Turkey here since we dont have Thanksgivings, however
Christmas Day it is our job to get the turkey since we have the dinner at our Nan and Granddad house with some of the other relations in our family - I think we spend £15.
New Year Day we just get a turkey crown since it just is four and My Grand Nan, Nan and Granddad at our house we spend about £7.
@kash@healthkicker - It's actually usually more expensive to cook food in NY than it is to order it in. Wouldn't be surprised if that were the case here...
I didnt buy the turkey! But just about all of the stores around give out free turkeys if you 'earn' them!
we had chicken....it was cheaper then turkey and just as good
18 bucks
