Black Friday: To Get The Best Deal You'll Have To Hurt People In The Process
This is a guest blog submitted by The_Prestigiator
Thanksgiving is splendid with its sacrificial animal ritual, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. But what's become more delicious than Thanksgiving itself? The day after. Yes, ladies and gents, get those running shoes ready (or computer mice) because at 5:00 am November 28, department store mayhem will ensure. Black Friday might as well be dubbed a national holiday because it has been become a day all consumers look forward to, maybe even more so than actual turkey day. Stores have even begun online orders for Black Friday specials!
So I conducted some research and have to say Black Friday is looking pretty scrumptious this year.
I've included a sample list of some great deals (while supplies last) various stores and companies are offering. Let's start from the top:
- Walmart: Nintendo Wii Games -- 2 for $30, ipod 1GB Shuffle with Mini Speaker System --- $69

*Note: Black Friday sometimes proves to be too hectic as you're pushing through hordes of people, battling over goods, or discovering that your key wishlist items have sold out. Hit online stores on Thursday to beat the rush and whatever you can't find means that heading to the stores themselves is as good a plan as any!
Do you plan to get up early for Black Friday? What are you looking to get?

yeah, computer. I figure if I saw about 200 bucks, it'll be worth the trouble for 2hrs of waiting. But little free things worth like $30 isn't really worth waking up early for.
it's always freezing cold on black friday...and some of the stuffs on sales are just poor quality...
Most places around me open at 4 am. There are even some places that are starting at midnight! This will be my first time Black Friday shopping - I am pretty excited!!!
I have no interest in Black Friday, but since I have to go to work, and I drive by a Wal-Mart, and since my wife found something in the ad...
I'll be there at 4:50 AM, waiting...
We are going to buy a portable dvd player for my son and some other odds and ends - i honestly dread black friday
