Yup - but only because I avoid the grocery store except once per week! Every day I consume things that cost money (food, hygeine items, wear clothes, utilities, etc). But that doesnt mean you need to physically spend money each day.
definitely, if my fridge is stocked and i don't need to pay any bills or travel on a particular day
Heck yeah, I only go shopping once (maybe twice) a week just so I don't have the temptation to spend when we can't afford it.
God I wish I could say yes to this. I am a spender and I won't deny it. I will also admit that it is generally on things I do not nedd more of like clothes and other nick-knack junk.
Yes because most of the time during the week, I am stuck at home by myself without a car. Kind of a good thing, though, in this aspect. ;P
Yeah i do everyday. Well, about everyday.
This issue really gets on my nerves a bit - y'know, just my dh & I alone (no kids yet) spend just above $50 everyday - not directly out of our pocket, but in bills, utilities, insurance, groceries each week... It's so awful to think of how quick $50 adds up day after day!! But it motivates us to pinch money in places where we can and not add another cell phone to our plan, etc.. ;)
I spend money maybe three days a week as it is... Time to go bring the wife to lunch..
Yes I can do this, if I got everything I need for the day than I am fine.
Yup, I pack my own lunch and bring my own water bottle. No need to buy snacks cause I have either a fruit or a granola bar in my bag. Haven't spent a dime today.
Frequently. Groceries we only shop for at the beginning and end of the month, I'm in love with freecycle and barter...and it's a rare occasion that I want or need to buy something (not to say that I don't end up lending my family plenty of money and aren't ever broke, though).
My Husband and I are raising 3 small children on a military salary, there are LOTS of days we can't spend money.
Even if we didn't have limited resources, I still think there would be days we woudn't spend money. Taking 3 small children out of the house is tough!
Yes, we've learned to do that. We both can get into spending binges, and there are so many opportunities to spend in the city we live in; but we've been trying to stay debt-free and that has required us to learn live more frugally.
Yes.
I go days without spending money on myself. After 10 years of marriage I had buried me and the wife into credit card debt. I admitting my failing and she took over the home budget with the understanding that she had the final word on everything and that I would submit to her leadership.
Since she took over, we have been debt free. I only get the spending money that she allows. I don't buy anything without her permission. It has worked very well.
So, I learned to go days without spending money. If I have spent the allowance she gives me, and she will not approve of the purchase, I do not spend money.
I am OK with this except it is a little embarrassing sometimes when I have to ask for 'coffee' money.
YES :
I just go to school and come home
